About Nicole

I am a self-taught, natural light photographer specializing in children and senior portraits.  I prefer to shoot outdoors using God's amazing gift of sunlight. I started snapping photos about 6 years ago when a dear friend gave me a DSLR to borrow. I eventually bought my own camera and haven't put it down since! I am always eager to learn new techniques and loves to re-edit old photos. I love doing portraits, andI particularly love to shoot engagement portraits. I find myself to be more creative and I love capturing intimate moments. I love engagement pictures so much that I am moving into the wedding industry! I couldn't be more excited!

 

I love simplicity. I don't dress up very fancily or accessorize with pounds of jewelry. I stick to my every day rings and my favorite necklace. While it may sound a little contradicting, I am obsessed with everything that is sparkly and pretty! I wish glitter could cover everything that I own.

In addition to photography, I have a part-time job and go to school. My heart is full of compassion and desire to help others, so I am following my dreams of becoming a nurse. 

I couldn't do any of this without my husband, Dane. We have been married since October 12, 2013. We are still head over heels for each other and enjoy playing silly phone games, trying out new restaurants, and organizing anything and everything! Dane is the best husband EVER. He is so encouraging and creative. He is actually the one that designed my logo, which I'm so proud of!
